Selective Laser Melting (SLM) Services

Selective Laser Melting (SLM), also known as Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS), is a metal 3D printing technology that selectively fuses a fine metal powder in aluminium or stainless steel. This 3D printing technology is used to manufacture both prototypes and production parts, especially with very complex features and all-in-one assemblies.

How to order parts?

Upload your files

1
Multiple designs for different parts can be imported at the same time to produce a single quote. In less than a minute, a detailed cost estimation appears on the screen.

Choose the process

2
Select the manufacturing process you require, then you can choose from more than 130 materials (including metals and plastics) and a variety of surface finishes.

Order your parts online

3
After selecting the desired options, you only need to confirm the order and pay on a secure payment platform. Your design will be analyzed by Zhuofei engineers.

Receive your parts

4
In a very short time, you will receive your ordered parts directly to your delivery address. You can track your parcel at any time in your personal account.

Pros & Cons of SLM 3D Printing

Advantages Considerations
Smooth surfacefinish Only resin / polymer materials
Can printclear/ transparent parts Limited resistance to UV light if you use resin as the printing material
High precision More expensive setup => more expensive smaller series
Fast: Zhuofei can deliver them in just 5 days Requires support elements
